I always thought the Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon’s album cover, a prism and rainbow on a pitch black background was the coolest cover when I was a kid. The album cover is devoid of any lettering letting you know the title of the album or the artist. Looking back the album cover was truly unique and experimental, I would expect nothing less from a group as experimental as Pink Floyd. For the background I embroidered psychedelic flowers as a background behind the prism, since the flowers are all stitched in black they are very subtle but create movement in the pieces as the light shifts over the stitches. The prism and rainbow are also embroidered with an all seeing eye stitched into the center of the prism.
