This is one of the first of the albums I did in this series, The Band has always been a favorite of mine, their music seems to be timeless and always relevant. Stage Fright was their third album and features an abstract painting in rainbow colors. When U created this piece I had I had just begun experimenting in wool thread, so stitched about 30 different colors of wool thread in a free motion abstract pattern directly through the the album cover. This is a very colorful piece and the one my daughter chose to hang in her room. Maybe one day she will discover the Band and the albums that came out the year I was born.
