     I created this Wilco album as a special request from a good friend. Wilco is one of her favorite bands and this is her favorite album of theirs. The cover features a birds nest over a grey background, no logo or title to the album. I thought the birds nest would be a perfect way to showcase how dimensional thread can be. I also wanted to add a few extra details to this project. I started by stitching the next in about 10 colors of wool thread using varying stitch lengths for added depth. I then used the inside of the album as appliqué fabric to stitch and laser cut birds flying around the nest. As a finishing touch I 3D printed three small eggs to place in the center of the nest.
