The Butterfly pieces start with up-cycled luxury boxes or shopping bags that are trimmed into the background shape, collaged and then embroidered. The embroidery is stitched directly through the actual box itself. Each background features intricate embroidery stitches that truly make each one unique. Once the background is complete it is padded and mounted. The butterfly is embroidered with ver 150,000 stitches. Once embroidered are hand trimmed and mounted in relief over the background.

Appliqués, patches, and butterflies are individually stitched out, meticulously crafted, and delicately placed on each piece, culminating in a truly distinctive and unparalleled masterpiece. Finally, each artwork is beautifully presented, encased in an acrylic frame, ready to enchant all who behold it.

What colors and sizes do they come in?
There are over 25 different butterfly breeds offered and each comes in multiple sizes and color variations. Each butterfly is offered in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” versions. The colors of the butterflies can be embroidered in their natural colors or in custom color pallets to complement your decor.

The kits are created in different sizes and breeds that are designed to complement each other. You can also choose your butterflies one at a time and design your own arrangement. The most unique part of the butterfly swarms is that you can add more later to create larger installations.

Each butterfly is offered in 4 different sizes. Mix and match the different sizes for amazing installations>
New mounting system
Each butterfly is backed in twill for durability and mounted on a precision cut acrylic base. The base is curved so the butterfly is dimensional when it is mounted to the wall. All mounting hardware is included with the butterfly kits.
Template Kit
A complete set of paper templates are included with each order. The templates allow you to plan out your installation with ease.
