The Johnny Cash piece is based on an acoustic style guitar and it was embroidered in quilted leather applique in black on black with hints of silver metallic. The background uses up-cycled Album covers that were collaged and embroidered into a vibrant background. Vintage Johnny Cash album covers were specifically chosen for this piece. To further embellish the background, embroidered butterflies were added, in of course, black.
