The Bolduc Butterflies begin with a backdrop made from upcycled luxury packaging. This packaging is deconstructed and collaged, then embellished with multiple layers of embroidery thread. The Butterfly is shaped as an appliqué using exquisite silk scarves. Each scarf is thoughtfully gathered and arranged to create a flawless representation of the Butterfly. The appliqué is meticulously hand-cut and positioned in relief against the background. Each piece is unique and can be customized with your choice of background.
