The St Elmo’s Fire piece is based on a Telecaster style guitar and it was embroidered in a red flame color. The background uses up-cycled Album covers that were collaged and embroidered into a vibrant background. Rock & Roll album covers were specifically chosen for this piece. To further embellish the background, embroidered patches were added along with buttons.
The guitar is embroidered with over 500,000 stitches and mounted in relief over the background.
